And they look AWESOME! ^_^
Everyone who pre-ordered a copy will have them sent out (with a little bonus!) on Monday. Everyone who didn't pre-order a copy, go get one!

Also, I'll bring some with me to the cons I'll be at this year. ~_^
Wheeeee! I'm so glad to finally see it in print!

Today's Page Will be Delayed...
Katie - 11/14/2005
There was a big ol' accident on the way home tonight (no, I wasn't involved...) that blocked the road and forced us into a very, very long detour. We just made it back, and it's straight to bed for the sleepy art types.
Monday's page will go up late Monday afternoon instead of Monday morning. ^_^

Mark your calendars!
Jodon - 11/02/2005
Here are two conventions Katie and I are planning on attending on the West Coast this year. While this list will probably grow, these are the ones that are coming up first.
1.) Sacramento Anime Show - Saturday January 14th, 2006
2.) Anizona 2 - April 14th-16th, 2006
We have been confirmed as guests for the Sacramento Anime Show and are waiting to hear back from Anizona. Both of these cons, while on the smallish side in comparison to AX and Otakon, are well organized and lots of fun. Katie and I both went to Anizona last year, and had a blast! (Minus certain excruciating publishing deadlines that kept us up til 6:00AM on some nights. -_-') As I said, the con was well run, and I don't know how to describe it more than that. You just felt... comfortable, and at ease. Which, for a convention, is a rare and scrumptious treat. ^_^
Looking to the far future, you can probably expect us to be making our rounds at Anime Expo and Otakon. There are also rumblings of possibly heading out to PortCon as we talk more with Dave. (Dave, if you are reading this, e-mail me please! We miss you! We must have talkings!)
I'll be making a post in the forums later with a convention schedule that we will try to keep up to date, as we hear more.
That about does it. Hope you all are enjoying the story so far. This is only the beginning. ^_^

A little delay!
Katie - 10/30/2005
I'm going to be down in Southern California to watch my friends get hitched this weekend, so Monday's page will go up Monday night, instead of Monday morning.
So sayeth the oatmeal, so sayeth the flock!

Is this thing on?
Jodon - 10/03/2005
Satyr lawyers are just the beginning my friends! I wanted to take the time to post with a couple of other technical notes, and my own little welcome message.
First and foremost, I think you all are probably curious as too the schedule the comic will run on. While our timekeeping skills aren't as sharp as the Shinigami Cooperative, we remain committed in being diligent in our update schedule. With that in mind, you can expect a new page from us every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as early as Midnight that day. There will be exceptions to the rule for special occasions, or holidays.
Second, the news section is not a blog. Katie and I run our own personal sites, which you can find links to on the Creators page. We want to keep the news here relevant to Aesir Corp itself, and not the inner workings of our lives.
The forums have been opened, and posting is well underway. We encourage readers to register and banter back and forth. Also, please familiarize yourself with the "Ten Commandments" before posting. ^_^'v
Other than that, WELCOME! We hope you all enjoy what we have in store for you. Katie and I are already grinning mischievously.

Oasis Destiny is now available for pre-sale!
Katie - 09/11/2005
After a four-and-a-half year wait, and many ill-fated attempts through my previous publisher, the entire "Oasis Destiny: The New Goddesses" story is now available as one book.
Go here to check it out!
As a bonus, the first 50 pre-orders will receive an autographed sketch as well! (Man-oh-man, my hand is gonna hurt...)

Welcome to Aesir Corp!
Katie - 09/11/2005
Beginning October 1st, 2005, my newest manga story "Aesir Corp" will hit the internet. This will be a tongue-in-cheek look at organized religion as corporate culture, told from the point of view of one of the larger polytheistic corporations. So if you're offended by books like Harry Potter, or think that video games cause violence, please go somewhere else. We have standards here.
While NHS readers will recognize some of the characters, this story is not a direct continuation from the "NHS: Hawaii" title published by Antarctic Press. Just for time reference, the events of this story occur about six months after the final issue of the NHS Wunan story.
The reason I have choosen to do this story on the web is because after the hectic schedule of working on a monthly format book (finishing 48 pages in a week is not good for my health...), I need to slow down a bit. Also, working for a publisher really doesn't pay the bills in comparison to the amount of stress it causes. So I figure, if I'm doing this for pretty much free, I might as well do it at a pace that won't kill me. Later on, if enough people are interested, I will offer the story in printed form as well.
Joining me on this excursion is Jodon Bellofatto, satire writer from Warcry.com's FF Online site. His sarcastic edge lends well to the tone of this story, and he has been my (uncredited) art assistant since the 4th issue of NHS.
Remember: the root word of "Religion" is "Rely". ~_^
