Member titles are assigned auto-magically based on your post count. Due to previous experience with "post-whores" ramping up their post counts, it will just have to be a surprise as to where and when your title is changed. These are all in good fun, and are in no way meant to belittle or offend anyone.
Freyja would also like to have mentioned that certain posters, who express particular virtues (or vices) may have their titles specially modified by her or her staff.
